Why did you decide to study this course?
After training and working in schools, I chose to pursue a career in Education Research. This course offered me excellent training in the skills that I need to pursue this career and aligns particularly well with the PhD process.
What did you enjoy most about the course?
I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of modules that the course offers, which makes the course very interesting – each module is really different. I felt that I learnt a lot of new skills from each module as well as through the dissertation process, which I think will be really beneficial for my future career. I have also met so many lovely people through the course, from the School of Education as well as from other departments.
A huge thank you to the wonderful staff involved in this course, particularly Nadia who is always so incredibly supportive.
What was your favourite subject to study?
I enjoyed lots of the modules for different reasons, so it would be really hard to pick one. I think that it was the variety that I enjoyed the most. If I had to pick one module, I would probably say the DAMER course, due to its huge breadth of information and engaging discussion that is so relevant to my future plans.
